Another year has gone by and it’s time to welcome the Year of Cow. 2008 was not a very good year for me but it had been an exciting one. I’m glad that we can finally bid farewell to the Year of Rat. Maybe it’s the nature of rats that made 2008 a bad year. They steal, they contaminate, they put human lives in jeopardy and they live like parasites.
Cows on the other hand, are strong, hardworking and independent animals. They can tolerate the sun during the hottest time of the year without going down with a heatstroke, being hit by a car (and killing the driver) and still walking and moo-ing like a mother cow, eating so much of grass and vomiting all out when no one’s looking and still not diagnosed with obesity or bulimic. Oh dear.
Anyway I was just trying to say that with such persistence and perseverance (of a cow's) I think the year 2009 will bring some positivity and optimism in us.
It’s only the 27th but starting from tomorrow onwards I’ll be working on my university stuff again. So here’s an early wish to all.
